They must have proper punctuation.

Journal entries are worth 25 points per month.

Wednesday, September 2:  How do we know that what we read, see, or hear is true?
Thursday, Sept. 3---Is it true that when a person does not live their best life, that it cheats future generations?  Support your answer.
Friday, Sept 4.---What do you want to be remembered for?
Tuesday, Sept 8-- What has been a big challenge that you've overcome? How did you do it?
Wednesday, Sept. 9--What foreign cultures have been the biggest influences on the United States?  Why do you think so?
Thursday, Sept. 10- Describe the ultimate hero. What are their qualities? (Are capes required? :) )
Friday, Sept 11--No Journal
Monday, September 14--Define democracy in your own words.  How could we make our democracy better?
Tuesday, September 15th--- How does the culture of Idaho Falls differ from New York City?  What are advantages to each?
Wednesday, September 16---No Journal.  We spent the time talking about the trimester project.
Thursday, Sept 17th - Would you rather follow a king, a president, or be the ruler yourself?
Monday, September 21--Does the United States spend too much on education?  Does it spend too much on the military?  Why do you think so?
Tuesday Sept 22nd --- If you lived in ancient Greece, how would you like to be remembered? As a hero? A tyrant? A great warrior? An Olympian? (These are just examples, you can pick something else that suits you and explain why!)
